I am a writing alchemist.

I have a penchant for oddities: museum artifacts, William Gibson novels, steampunk fashions. A lifelong experience junkie, I’ve been spelunking, designed a machine to simulate the body’s arterial system, flown stunt kites, and studied ancient Hebrew. All of it goes into the creative cauldron, and somehow transmutes into writing. As far as I can tell, it’s magic.

I started out writing for and designing interactive museum exhibits and have shifted over the years to writing for websites, ebook authors, corporate blogs, and video. Since 2005 I’ve also been building WordPress websites, doing search engine optimization, and helping businesses brand and market themselves online using content distribution strategies to build organic search results.
