Emerge Collection

These mixed-media paintings are built slowly, through layers of watercolor, acrylic, marks, erasures, and excavation. Earlier layers remain present beneath later ones, sometimes disappearing almost completely, sometimes surfacing in unexpected ways. 

The result is a collection about emergence—not as a single dramatic transformation, but as a gradual opening. Something becoming visible. Something finding its shape. Something, perhaps, becoming itself.
