“A Different Horizon”

Original painting by Lisa Creech Bledsoe

11″x15″ mixed media on watercolor paper. Ships unframed.

A layered wash of pale lemon, peach, blue, and softened white drifts above a moody shoreline of deep Payne’s gray. Originally painted in another orientation, the piece gradually revealed its true horizon during the process—settling into a landscape that feels both coastal and dreamlike. Thin veils of acrylic white soften the watercolor beneath, creating luminous, sea-worn color and the hazy atmosphere of waves meeting evening light.
