“Silken”

Original painting by Lisa Creech Bledsoe

Materials: 11″x15″ Mixed-media painting on archival 100% cotton rag watercolor paper. Ships unframed.

Soft as cream and layered with the subtle richness of rose, champagne, lavender, and gold, Silken invites a slower kind of looking. Delicate marks and translucent passages reveal themselves gradually, creating a surface that feels almost sumptuous to the touch. Quiet, luminous, and deeply refined, this is a painting about the pleasure of lingering.
